Acceptable use

1 · What this covers

This policy is part of the Terms of Service and applies to everything you put on P360: the panorama itself, its title and description, and anything visible inside the image.

The short version: upload panoramas you took or have the right to publish, and remember that anyone with the link can see them.

2 · Content that is not allowed

These are also the categories anyone can report a panorama under, using the report link on its page.

Sexual content involving a minor: Never, in any form, including drawn, rendered or synthetic imagery, and including content that sexualises a real child without being explicit. We remove this on sight, terminate the account, and report it to the authorities where we are required or able to.

Sexual or explicit content

P360 has no age gate and no adult section, and panoramas are served to anyone with a link, so pornographic and sexually explicit panoramas are not allowed. Nudity that is clearly artistic, documentary or educational is judged on context.

Violence and graphic content

No gratuitous gore, real injury or death presented for shock, or content that glorifies or incites violence. Newsworthy or documentary imagery is judged on context.

Hate speech and harassment

No content that attacks or dehumanises people over race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age, and nothing aimed at harassing, threatening, bullying or intimidating a specific person. This covers titles and descriptions as much as the image.

Illegal or dangerous activity

Nothing unlawful where you or we are, and nothing promoting or facilitating serious harm — weapons or drug trafficking, terrorism or violent extremism, fraud, or trafficking in people.

Other people's private information

No home addresses, phone numbers, identity or financial documents, or credentials, and nothing published to expose or intimidate someone. A 360° photo captures everything around you: think about faces, licence plates, screens, letters and windows before you upload one, and get consent where a recognisable person is the subject.

Work that isn't yours to publish

Upload your own panoramas, or ones you have permission to publish. That includes trademarks and other people’s copyrighted material appearing as the subject of the image. Copyright complaints are handled under the Terms of Service.

Files that are not 360° panoramas

P360 hosts equirectangular 360° photos. Do not use it as a general image host, file locker, or CDN for assets that have nothing to do with panoramic photography, and do not upload files whose only purpose is to occupy storage.

Anything else clearly abusive

This list cannot name everything. Content that is deceptive, that impersonates someone, that spams, or that is plainly abusive in a way not listed above is still not allowed.

3 · How you may not use the service

Beyond what you upload, don’t:

create more than one account, or use automation, to get around the storage or upload limits;
work around rate limits, scrape the service, probe it for weaknesses, or try to reach panoramas or accounts that are not yours;
upload malware, or anything crafted to break the image pipeline or the viewer rather than to be looked at;
put load on the service that a person browsing panoramas would not — bulk automated requests, or embedding in a way designed to generate traffic rather than show a panorama;
imply that P360 endorses you, or present the service as your own.

Embedding a panorama in your own page is exactly what the embed code is for, and is always fine.

4 · The four limits

Four ceilings, and none of them is negotiable by writing to us — they are enforced by the uploader before a byte leaves your machine, so a file that breaks one is rejected with the measured value and the exact fix rather than failing halfway through.

Panoramas stored: 60panoramasAcross your whole library, not per day. Delete one to make room for the next.

Per file: 100MB, JPEG · PNG · WebPMeasured before a byte leaves your machine, so an oversized file is refused rather than half-uploaded.
Projection: 2:1equirectangular, exactlyA 4:3 or 16:9 frame is not a panorama and the viewer cannot wrap it. A resize that lands within 2% of the ratio is accepted; anything further out is refused before upload.

One ceiling is per day rather than per account: 60 uploads a day.

The counter resets at midnight UTC. Failed uploads are refunded; deleting a panorama does not give the upload back.

These limits exist to keep a free service affordable to run, and we may change them. Treating them as an obstacle to route around is itself a violation of this policy.

5 · Reporting a panorama

Every public panorama page has a report link. You do not need an account to use it. Pick the closest category, add anything that helps us understand the problem, and send it — reports are rate-limited, so filing the same one repeatedly does not make it louder.

We read what comes in and act where a report is well-founded. We can’t promise a reply to each one, or tell you what we decided about a particular panorama. If your complaint is that a panorama uses your copyrighted work, use the copyright process in the Terms of Service instead — it needs details a report form doesn’t collect.

Don’t file reports you know to be false. Doing it repeatedly is abuse of the service in its own right.

6 · What we do about violations

Depending on what we find, we may:

leave the panorama up, if the report does not hold;
permanently delete the panorama and every file behind it — the original, its tiles, its preview and its thumbnail — which breaks its share link and every embed of it immediately, and cannot be reversed;
suspend or terminate the account behind it;
report the content to the authorities, which we will do for content that sexually exploits children and anywhere else the law requires it.

We act without prior notice when content is illegal or the harm is immediate. If you think we got it wrong, write to shamuddin1011@gmail.com — we will look again, though deleted files cannot be brought back.
